IndyCar Barber: Start times, how to watch on TV, entry list & more
This weekend’s race at Barber Motorsports Park will consist of 90 laps (207 miles) on the 17-turn, 2.3-mile road course, happening from Friday, April 26th to Sunday, April 28th, with a race start time of 1:40pm ET. Each driver will have six sets of primary Firestone tires and four sets of alternate tires available, with an additional set for rookies during the Friday practice. The push-to-pass feature allows for 200 seconds of total time and a maximum of 20 seconds per activation, except at starts and restarts. The defending race winner is Scott McLaughlin from Team Penske-Chevrolet, with the qualifying lap record held by Pato O’Ward at 1m05.5019s, 126.409 mph set in 2021. Race coverage will start on Sunday at 1:00pm ET on NBC, with Leigh Diffey as the play-by-play announcer, and analysts Townsend Bell and James Hinchcliffe. All IndyCar activities can be streamed live on Peacock, NBC’s streaming platform, starting from Friday with practice sessions up to the race day on Sunday.
